Sensuous Sadie is the author of It’s Not About the Whip: Love, Sex, and Spirituality in the BDSM Scene which is a collection of her columns from her series The Art of BDSM. Sadie is the founder and leader (1999 - 2001) of Rose & Thorn, Vermont’s first BDSM group. She founded several online discussion groups including BDSM for People of Size and BDSM Scribes (now owned by Kayla Kuffs). Her website is known for hosting guest writers in the area of BDSM and spirituality as well as artists and photographers.

 

Sadie lives in northern Vermont and has a great passion for its beautiful Green Mountains. She is an avid photographer, works out religiously, and spoils her cat Blackie who is not remotely submissive. She is a plus-sized beauty in great shape, and proud of both. She identifies primarily as a Submissive despite being known for being a bit bossy.
